The other thing of note is that if VoiceOver is running on your Macintosh it is 
impossible to pass control-alt sequences to the VM. Usually this is not a 
problem for me, but if I need to adjust Speech Rate, it does require a bit more 
work.



I am not sure what you mean by prospect windows. 

In terms of getting to the desktop and using alt-F4 are you comfortable with 
the fact that the Windows key is the command key and the option key is the alt 
key? I also have VMWare map command-W to alt-F4 and in one VM also mapped 
command V,C,X to control V,C, and control X.
