With regard to the desktop, Try windows key and m to bring the desktop to focus. With alt f4, Try holding down your fn key and using alt fn key and f4, If your function keys are not set to normal function keys then you’ll have to use the fn key.

Good evening everyone, as my subject line states I am running Windows 10 in a VMware version 10 window. I am having some minor jaws navigation issues. Such things as unable to or understand prospect windows in to get to the desktop. Or not being able to process alt F4 to close an application in Windows. Is there anything that I should be doing as far as the set up to help but some of the standard jobs navigation commands in Windows 10. I hope this note is clear enough?
