Karen, I think you misunderstand because of the helium comment. The voice chAnge did have that effect, because the pitch is higher and the speed faster. It sort of caught me by surprise, probably as much as anything because I wasn't expecting the change. However, I've been using my phone for nearly a day now, and there is nothing cartoonish about the voice. In fact, I would say the diction is actually a little clearer.
