have that effect, because the pitch is higher and the speed faster. It sort of
caught me by surprise, probably as much as anything because I wasn't expecting
the change. However, I've been using my phone for nearly a day now, and there
is nothing cartoonish about the voice. In fact, I would say the diction is
actually a little clearer.

My worry is that Apple might be moving from clear quality voices to the
animated toy effect. Making Siri more of a cartoon than a tool?
