I found the link for adding a new device, and it does have settings for platform and internet connection, so you can pick Apple and the Mac platform, but when it comes to the actual device, all there are under there are various flavor of Ipod and Iphone, and I don't have either of those yet. So it looks like I'd be adding a device I don't have and I'm not at all sure what that might do. I suppose it is worth a try; I could always delete it.
