Hi Donna,

Unfortunately, I cannot help you with your current problem, because I did not
know that you could open attachments in this way. However, have you considered
creating a shortcut for the saving attachments option in the "File" menu? You
can do this from the "Keyboard" preferences in System Preferences:

1. Open System Preferences
2. Navigate to the "Keyboard button" either using VO navigation methods or by
using the "Item Chooser menu"
3. Navigate to and activate the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab.
4. Navigate to the "Shortcut Categories table" (it's up to you whether or not
you interact with it)
5. Navigate to the bottom of the table where you'll find the "Application
Shortcuts" option.
6. If you are interacting with the table stop and navigate to the "Add an
Application Shortcut button".
7. This will open a dialogue where you can choose the "Mail" Application from a
"pop-up button"
8. In the "edit field" that follows, enter the menu item name for the shortcut
you want to create. (The shortcut name must be spelt exactly as it appears in
the menu).
9. Next enter the shortcut key you want to use and click the "Add" button.

Hope this helps
TC
