All sorted out. iTunes Media is the correct folder for the library. What I probably needed was to consolidate it, not sure but it is in working order now and Apple TV sees the library.

Hmmm.  That's not what is supposed to happen when you consolidate.  I know that computers don't always do what they're supposed to, but the consolidation is supposed to organize everything properly.  Oh well.  In either case, I'm not sure why you're having that problem.  I tested it here and all is normal.

I had done that and everything was moved out of the iTunes Media folder, very messy. So I did a restore, redownloaded the TV shows and got the same result.

Everything went fine when iTunes was pointed to the iTunes Media folder. I don't know what I may have changed after installing Mojave and I ended up pointing to the iTunes folder to resolve something else. Strange because I have done perhaps 3-4 clean installs.

Hi,
In some ways, it just doesn't matter, but if you really wish to try, you could go under the File menu in iTunes, down to Library, then right and down to Organize Library.  See if that cleans things up for you.

Instead of these shows being placed in the TV Shows folder under iTunes Media. They are in a TV Shows folder under the iTunes folder.   I can see them fine in iTunes and in Apple TV. How best to correct this? Thanks.
