In the resulting window, VO-space on the "Show Capture Devices" pop-up and select the iPad or iPhone for both video and audio capturing. By default, the volume seems to always be muted, so VO-left to the Full Volume button and press it. Finally, VO-right to the Start Recording button and press it. Because you are doing a movie recording, you get both the video and audio from the iOS device recorded by QuickTime. Press the Stop button to end the recording and edit/trim/save your product. This appears to be more challenging on the Mac. I can use an app called Reflector to capture the video content, but the VoiceOver Audio is more challenging. I've got some ideas, but need to round up a cable or two to test before I make any commitments as to its usability. The audio and video is mirrored when using Reflector and an iOS device, but I haven't bothered messing with recording this way yet. HTH. Later...
