Hi folks,

Yea I have to agree,

the great things about technology today is that we can now use with less
troubles the same devices that the sighted world use no real need for the
production of 3rd party products like years ago to make things usable.

Accessibility is built in to our devices thanks to such companys as Apple and
Google with android and the different Mac OS ranges.
I use my phone all the time for different things, only when I know I’m going to
need to do a lot of typing do I use my iClever bt keyboard with it.
Otherwise I just use the IOS KB

Subject: Re: iPhone accessory that may be of interest

Hi Alia,

Basically, I agree. If it provided a better typing solution I might have gone
for it, but I'm perfectly comfortable using the touch screen, so have little
interest in using a device such as this for iPhone operation. However, if
someone has fine motor challenges or something like that, being able to use
physical buttons might be helpful. Like I said, I don't think it'll be for
everyone, but I do think it will appeal to some. I figure it's always good to
know what your options are.
Cheers,
Donna

thanks.

this is my opinion only. the idea that is so appealing about the iphone is I
can use it as is. I don’t need anything “extra” to use it. same with mac. it’s
why I moved from jaws to mac. so why would you buy a special accessory that
makes you different again?! it’s just me, but that defeats the purpose. the
iphone is perfectly accessible, and from the little I watched all those buttons
just complicates something that’s perfectly simple, why is this needed?

Hi all,

This was in the Flying Blind newsletter. Not sure what I think about it, but
thought some might be interested. It seems to be a little hand-held device
that replaces the touch screen on the iPhone. Podcast is here:
