Hello Anne,
If QuickNav is on and you interact with the input field for To: CC:, or Subject
then Mojave beeps and lets you type characters. Then when you stop interacting
with that field QuickNav functions return. However in the body of an HTML
message QuickNav never seems to disable. I didn't try after interacting with a
text element within the body text so perhaps then it would work.
I suppose I should stop looking for complicated answers to simple questions..
But then working with a modern computer is not simple, there are all sorts of
exceptions and things one would expect should work, but they don't.
