Well cmd-shift-3 and 4 work fine. I was actually doing it right all along. Are you sitting down, Tim? All my screenshots were going to their folder in Dropbox. Had 40 in there. :) I think that will work out. I don't need cmd-shift-5 at all.

Hi,

I press VO-space to get rid of the Markup screen, but also have found that I need to click the Trackpad on the Desktop in order that the cmd-shift-5 and 3 will do the proper things.  5 does bring up a menu of choices for screen capturing.

Yep it gets strange until that markdown thing is clicked. But I am still not getting it.When I click the desired window, the markdown comes up, I click it, I get the options and since none seem to apply, I click the done button and things go away. Some of my attempts give me 'system dialog' which could be a phantom.

Hi,
cmd-shift-3 works properly for me.  cmd-shift-5 also works properly for me, although this is a new one that I didn't know of.  Thanks for this.   cmd-shift-4, used to just take a screen shot and place it on the clipboard, but that doesn't seem to work for me.  One thing to note though, if you take a screen shot with cmd-shift-f3, the Markup layer gains focus and unless you click the physical mouse, it seems to cause weird things to happen such as cmd-w not working, cmd-shift-5 and a few others.  As I mentioned, clicking the physical mouse brings focus back into the real world and cmd-w and such work again.  So, see if the click helps you.

I checked the options and screenshots should be saved to desktop.   Cmd-shift-4 should take a screenshot of a window. Cmd-ctrl-shift-4 should take one and save it to desktop. Neither this nor using the menu via cmd-shift-5 works for me. Any thoughts? Thanks.
