Hi, Remember that the scroll area screen in Disk Inventory X is not particularly VO friendly. close that window, then you'll get to the meat of the info you need.

There must be something odd with my Macintosh HD partition. First time i ran disk inventory x it displayed all folders and such but i didn’t take note of that so i ran it today again but now the scrolarea is empty. I have done firstaid on the macintosh hd and also the container contining the macintosh hd. When i do this i get Overallocation detected on main device and then a bunch of numbers. This warning appears twice after eachother. What i have done is to do some google searches on this space gone thing. What i’ve found so far is that i could try run fsck -fy which i have done in recovery mode but when i do this the mac base system seems to be ok. But i don’t believe that. There is something wrong with this harddrive. SO i am planning to reformat and do a clean install. What i would like to know is if i should reformat the apple ssd partition containing the macintosh hd partition or if i only should reformat the macintosh hd partition itself? /A -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
