That has worked for me, taking breaks! When you want to do all the
songs in n album, select album in the sidebar, jump to the album table
with command j. Select the album and do another jump.

around it. When I Tried to select all the songs in an album I think I
selected all of the albums in the rock genre and I didn’t want to change
that. Then I tried again and it gave me the info on a totally different
album than the one I wanted.
I think it is better to walk away for today and try fresh tomorrow.

Totally doable. Simply select the song, songs, or titles within an
album then press cmd-i to Get Info on the songs. Either press tab
until you find the Genre field, or VO navigate to the Scroll area,
interact with it and navigate to the Genre field. When focused on
this field, you can VO-space to choose from the available genres, or
type one in yourself if you'd prefer to create your own. Navigate
to the OK button and press it and voila, all done.

of them clearly are not the genre that iTunes says they are. When
I’m at work I like to choose a genre and set it to shuffle so I get
