Yeah that's true,

 Except for the current situation where I've completely deleted the OS from the 
ssd and it's now not talking to me.

I believe this might be due to file volt which was installed the first time I 
set it up before wiping it to install Mojave latest os version.
Oh well gives me something to play with at work tomorrow.

You can always use an external keyboard while it's at home or at your workplace 
on a desk (either Bluetooth or USB).
