I've grabbed the 16GB I7 pro and as for the keyboard well that's something I 
can't get around as apple don't make a better option.
If I get stuck I'll just make changes with a hot stick or something.

Being limited to 8Gb RAM might be a problem if you're running Win10, and 
especially if running in a vm.

But, I should think a keyboard you don't like would be even worse.

Can you hold out to see what comes from Apple later in the year? A lot of 
people are having issues with the newer keyboards. Seems reasonable Apple will 
do something about those complaints.
