Kevin! Kevin! Kevin!!!!! I loved your statement, “I have to kill this if it's the last thing I do.”
Man, I cannot stop laughing. I know exactly, and I do mean, exactly, how you feel. Your statement, along with its sentiment is going to keep me smiling , for a long, long time. Thank you for that. As to your issue, it sounds to me that you may need to delete your @me.com alias from either or both your iCloud account and/or your Google account. In either case, you must do this from your account page. It’s been a while since I’ve done this on Google but on an iOS device, for Apple, do the following: 1. Go to Settings. 2. Click on your name. 3. Select the Name, Phone Numbers, and Email, button. A dialog box will appear that list all of the email address / aliases currently associated with your Apple ID. To change or delete any items, select the Edit button located near the upper right corner of the display. As I said, the issue may be associated with your Google account, also. Best to check, just in case. Good Luck, let us know what happens, and above all else, thank you for the laugh. Can't seem to prevent this guys, Following up. I just now attempted to send a fresh e-mail to the Reaper list shown here. Because I was sending this in Apple Mail while highlighting an unrelated message that came to my Gmail account, typing in RWP autofilled the TO field with [email protected] as it should. I sent the message and I received it as I would have expected. But when I attempted to reply to my own thread, my sender e-mail was [email protected] again. I have to kill this if it's the last thing I do. Ideas? I have since unsubscribed and resubscribed to this mailing list using [email protected]. However, even though my e-mails from this list come to my iCloud address, hitting reply automatically populates the sending address as [email protected]. If I don’t happen to remember to click on the outgoing address and change it to [email protected], the mail will be sent to nowhere and it will take a few days for me to realize that the reason I haven’t heard from whatever I asked about is because nobody saw what I wrote. I have tried my best to make sure that [email protected] is toast. It is no longer present as a sender’s e-mail address. But it remains as an option in the list of e-mail addresses I can choose when sending e-mails. In fact, if I am currently highlighting an e-mail that came to my iCloud account, initiating a blank e-mail appears to populate the From field with [email protected], regardless of what e-mail address I actually want in the From field. I can’t remove this me.com address as an option in the From field no matter what I do. Can anyone help?
