Sorry, I don't have a leopard machine to test it on. It might make a difference, because accessibility made tremendous strides in SL, but I seriously doubt it. I never had problems with submit buttons not showing up and I don't recall seeing mention of it. That by no means proves the problem didn't exist, but I see a fare number of macs in the coarse of my training gig and none of them reported such a thing.
In the event, why would your friend the mack user be running leopard at this stage? Is there some compadibility issue preventing them from upgrading?
