Dave,

First, do you have multiple eMail accounts on this computer? If so, You'll
need to make sure that you keep within each account's directory, otherwise, it
seems to duplicate the mailbox, not to move it. Also, when moving mailboxes
within a given account, you cannot move the user created mailboxes into the
reserved area. That is, you cannot move your USPS mailbox up with the Sent and
Trash for that account. It needs to stay within the expanded area for that
account. For example, if you have multiple accounts, after interacting with
the Mailboxes table, you'll have the InBox, and if it is expanded, you'll then
have all the parent boxes for each of your accounts. Continue moving down and
you might here a mailbox name then things like Sent, Drafts, Trash. As far as
I can tell, these are reserved mailboxes and out of bounds for manipulation.
Further down, you should hear the mailbox name followed by either expanded or
collapsed. These are the parent folders for each of your accounts. When
expanded, you'll have all the mailboxes and mailbox folders listed for that
account.

So, in this mailboxes table, you can drag the account Inboxes around to
re-order them to your liking, or move one mailbox onto another to create a
mailbox folder, and you can move an entire mailbox from one account to another,
with the stipulation mentioned at the start of this rather lengthy message.

I hope this clears some things up for you.

Later...

Okay, I’ve learned that I can very easily move a mailbox folder from
one place to another folder. That places it inside that folder, which is not
what I need. I need to move these folders to the root level (or the level just
under Inbox) so that it sorts with the others. This I cannot do. I move the VO
cursor so that it is focused on Inbox, and ensure that the Mouse cursor is also
focused, and then drop. Nothing. The folder will not move.
