Since I upgraded to Mojave, I have not been able to do anything functional with Spotlight or any way of finding something on my computer. I try to follow the one thing I see on the internet which says to press VO+m three times and Spotlight will come up. This doesn't happen, so no problem, use command+spacebar. I type in a search string and I always and only see a list of folders on my backup/media disk. These never have anything to do with what I'm looking for. I used to love the command+option+spacebar, but this doesn't seem to work any longer. It would simply search the folder I was in, which is what I want. I realize this may not be clear or enough. Let me know what can help so that someone can help me, please!!!
