Hi,

I've noticed a similar sort of thing where the notifications must be actually
cleared instead of ignoring them and going to the Home screen. Like Phil, I'm
not sure if this is a bug or intentional. There are some benefits to this, but
I kind of liked it when I could just clear them quickly by going directly to
the Home screen. I often now will clear or dismiss them using swipe up/down
when on the Lock screen to get rid of them. It's not consistent as to whether
they remain, or at least certain kinds of notifications react differently
sometimes.

Later...

Gabe, I’m having a similar problem with Reminders appearing on the lock screen
and being a little more persistent than usual. That is it will re-verbalize the
reminder every minute or two until I actually clear it. This never used to
happen, you would get one verbal notification of the reminder and then you were
left alone. I don’t know if it’s a bug or an intentional change in software
from Apple. Kind of annoying though
