Ok, didn’t think non iMessages came through. Must check my settings as that’s probabl;y I’m not getting them.

I’ only seem to be getting iMessages and not regular Text messages. Even when I have my iPhone right next to my Mac. I thought this was normal, but just noticed my wife receiving a Text message on her Mac from a friend that hasn’t got an iPhone. And she replied with the Mac as well. I tried texting the same friend with my Mac and she never received it.
