If the phone is unlocked then there should be no limitations what so ever. The only thing you might need to do is have an old sim card to put in it to stop the prompting for a sim.
It doesn't need to be a working sim, Then you could use it as a media device or camera etc. The thing is that its unlocked so no issues I would think. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Karen Lewellen Sent: Tuesday, 19 November 2019 10:25 AM To: list voiceover <[email protected]> Subject: limitations of an unlocked iphone? Hi folks, Am hoping to get a basic answer without needing to join another list. I have an unlocked iPhone 5. I have no desire to get it subscribed to a service unless absolutely needful as it will not be used for phone calls. However, I may not have a choice, which is why I am asking. If I keep the phone unlocked, will I still be able to use it for other things? Or more correctly, what can I do with an unlocked IPhone? thanks, Karen -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
