During all my attempts to modify the display and desktop characteristics, I managed to turn off something. Let’s say I’m in the System Preferences, and in one of the areas there are Tabs or Checkbox items in a row as I move across. Used to be, that I would hear “selected” when I landed on the one that was selected. Now there is no notification at all that one is selected. Ditto for some checkboxes that do not say “checked” or “not checked”. Is this a VO setting I managed to botch?
