Hi Tim, Got the installer,
Did a shift cmd r at start up and managed to wipe the drive with disk utilities, I’ve managed to set up the install using the flash drive due to the net being so slow here it’s crazy, I can’t even streem audio on my phone. Or now connect this Yosemite machine to the internet, 802.11 A wifi should be dead But not in this house. Cheers. Not sure how easy they are to find at this point though as I've found that older signed installers no longer work and you need to download a new one from Apple in order to get a workable installer. I didn't look as far back as Yosemite last time I was browsing MacOS installers, but did find El Capitan for sure. Later...
