Hello, While I have not found any way to pause and resume,there is a way to accomplish a similar conclusion. This is what I do.
1. open quick time. 2. setup for an audio recording. 3. Move to the record play button and press the space bar and start talking. 4. When done with this first file, I press space to stop the recording. 5. Press Command S and save the file with a name, something like 01. 6. Close that file. 7. Start a new audio recording. 9. contenu talking where you left off. 10. Save that file as 02. 11. Close this file. 12. Open the first file, 01. 14. Go to the edit menu and select add clip to end and activate it. 15. Go to open and open the second file, 02. 17. Press done. Exit and save the new file with a name that applies to your recording. Now, you can open this new file and you will hear a smoothly spliced file.
