Hi Tim, That answers my question. I still can’t understand why apple makes it so difficult. Like I said most of the default sounds for the messages app are available on both the Mac and the iPhone, but the alert sounds for the Mail app are very limited. I haven’t counted them but I’m guessing it is only around 9 options, none of which are very exciting. Surely it can’t be that difficult to let us download sounds that we have purchased from their own iTunes Store to our Mac’s? I might email then and ask but I’m guessing that won’t help as they don’t like getting suggestions. And I’m not sure what email address to use.
