Donna, When using the iPhone, you could play books by simply placing them into your music folder as MP3 files, or other audio file types. The problem with that is that they could be affected by the shuffle feature, so chapters may not play in sequence. Also you don’t have a convenient way to stop and then pick up again later at the same point. The M4B format works in the books app on the iPhone and also in the audio books player on an iPod. It will resume where you leave off (bookmark) and allows you to slow or speed up the narrative. The binding process in Audio Book Binder/Builder does that for you.
