Yeah Petrus I had a look at it lastnight but haven’t done anything with it.
It turns out most businesses don’t have the qr codes relating to the app and store related information. Hi Tim, I found it under settings, privacy, and bluetooth as well. We have a covid tracing app in New Zealand that was released yesterday but it hasn’t got bluetooth capability yet. We have been told that it is coming in future updates. It just talks about how exposure notification works. It doesn't say anything about what specific apps you need to install to use the feature. Under the Active App choice: I see no apps installed. So clearly Apple's COVID app is not an option. this is really a bust. When inside this setting there is a Learn More button. It seems that there are certain apps that you can allow access of the COVID-19 tracking system too. It’s not available in my region, so I’m not totally familiar with the details of how it works. Problem is, when I go into settings and enable COVID tracking, it tells me that it can't be enabled because I don't have a necessary app installed. So, I went to the app store and downloaded the Apple COVID-19 app. I installed it, and answered the questions, but I'm still getting the message that COVID tracking in settings cannot be enabled. Does anyone know what I need to do to utilize this feature? This is really a big miss by Apple. If they expect people to use this, they needed to let us know what we need to do.
