I want to remove it because DB can be used in only 3 computers, and I already have 3 computers where DB is activated. In addition, every time I turn on my Mac, DB shows up, asking for some email address, which is not the one I used in drop box. I will try what you suggest.

Dropbox should be in your applications folder, which you access with command plus shift and A. Just highlight it and press command backspace. If your using VoiceOver it should say something like move to trash. But it might come up with an administrator message, I'm not sure on that though. Why do you need to remove it anyway?
