One of the glories of homebrew apps on Mac hardware is that you can
still send output to your various media devices.

Life is not so on Microsoft under WSL. Though I wouldn't be without my
Ubuntu on my office provided Windows machine, I do see this demarcation
as a serious barrier.

Presumably, this won't go away on the new hardware platform, though it
will clearly require new drivers.
