Yeah, but how often do you really need a DVD drive? I bought a portable one that I keep in a desk drawer, and only connect it when I need it. About the only thing I ever use it for is importing CDs into my iTunes library, which I rarely need to do now, as most of my music has already been imported. So that DVD drive spends most of its life just sitting there in the drawer. I would never have it permanently hooked up to my Mac, that'd just be a waste of a perfectly good USB port. Cheers, Donna
