I can hear part of the message but if it's a long one the whole thing doesn't display. if it's only read on the locked screen it doesn't show up as "read" and of course if I want to reply to it I need to go in there. a few times I've gotten my phone to go ther by pressing the home button with my touch id finger once then read the message, then tap on it and it goes there. but it's not consistent.
