Hope you are well. Thank you very much for your reply. Firstly I successfully 
switched my desktop colour to white and the invert did make it black. However I 
am interested in the medium gray that you suggest so that maybe I can 
distinguish the windows better from the desktop. So yes, whenever you have time 
let me know how to do this.
Secondly yes I do have a trackpad and will try out your suggestion for zooming. 
I did not have enough time yesterday to play with this. Thirdly I think this is 
where the confusion is coming from. When I hear the hot keys for zooming in and 
out voiceover says not assigned and also does not mention the minus key. 
However again I will try to play with this and see what happens.
Right now I think your suggestions will help me and everything will be set as 
desired. I think eventually I still need to learn how to assign hotkeys. Anyhow 
I am so grateful for your help.
