Hi Andrew, Thanks. I tried that. I swiped till I heard one sound, but that I think just took me to the home screen. So I swiped till I heard the second sound, and yes, that brought up the app switcher. I finally got the dock back by rebooting my iPad, but I'd rather not have to do that if this happens again. I will check out VO gestures and see what I can find. Cheers, Donna
