Hi all,
I got the advanced talking book player when they first came out last summer.
Although I was stationed in Huntsville Alabama for my entire service, I am a
Service connected Vietnam era Vet. It's like pre boarding at the airport, if
someone is willing to let me go to the head of the line, I've learned to say
thank-you and go to the head of the line.

As for the player; it's great. I download books regularly from the NLS BARD
site and have enough reading material to keep me busy for a couple of years. I
bought a couple of thumb drives, four gig models, and each holds over ten large
books.

If you can eventually get the advanced model, it's well worth the wait to get
the bookmarking feature.

Make sure your name is on your library's waiting list. The squeaky wheel gets
the greased player.
