My iPad tells me that a new OS is available for download. I have it charged to 100%. I download and it gets to about 93% downloaded and then says that an error occurred during the download. My wife has done some reading and says that one of the reasons might be that there is a partial copy of this OS somewhere and that I should remove this before attempting the download again. Pam can't find it anywhere and we don't know what to do. I'm assuming that if the hardware didn't support the OS, I wouldn't be given the message to try downloading and installing it. the machine works fine. but I'd like to update the OS if I'm entitled to do so. I have already exited iCloud and signed back in without any change to the download problem. I've tried this on several different days to allow for extreme traffic downloading the update. I don't think that's the problem. Ideas?
