The Cheapest air also only has a 7 core processor which again may or may not affect anything. If you step up to the 512 version they do give you the extra core so you have the 8. I wanted to go fanless but decided ultimently to go with the pro. The Touch Bar doesn’t bother me to much I can work around it. It was a bigger deal in Bootcamp but now we can’t do that anyway lol. Probably the air would work for me but I still have really bad reservations due to the fact that the air used to give me busy busy and get so hot LOL. If you decide to get one let me know what you decide it's pretty cool the battery life is unbelievable!
