Well, the command "killall" is a shell script that essentially does a ps and 
pipes the results through a few other commands. There is a reasonable  chance 
though that Launchd would then restart it. 

The launchctl command can be used to discover and start  stop and disable 
Launch daemons.
To list just run 
launchctl list 
Probably the rest is best to discover on web pages.
Also, I suggest using a programm like app cleaner,  Clean My Mac or TInkertool 
System .
AppCleaner is entirely free, and only does Finding related files to an 
application. You can open it ask it to open an application file, and then it 
will list all the associated support files. You can examine then or just click 
the erase button at the bottom.
The other tools I mention have some cost involved and can do other utilities to 
help unbreak a Computer.
