Hi Herbie,
As John describes in that message below, prior to the Big Sur update that is
exactly how it worked for me – just and easy swipe or VO-left/right and press
the accept button. Now, with the update to Big Sur there is no simple way to
just navigate to the accept button when the call comes in.

If the focus is on the window, you should be able to VO-arrow to the,
accept, button and then VO-space. If you have to use the notification center to
answer, then use the approach I mentioned before. Usually, for me, the
VoiceOver focus is right in the FaceTime call window and I just have to
navigate to the, accept, button.

VO-command-space on the notifications and VO-down arrow down the options.
You can then VO-spacebar.

Since I updated to Big Sur on my 2014 Mac Book Pro, I have not been able
to answer incoming Face Time calls on the computer. I know that VO+O takes me
to the notification center, but I am unsure what to do to try and find the
answer/accept button on incoming calls. I am able to place out-going with Face

Does any one else have this problem and know the solution? And, second,
is it a bug or just my problem with not knowing what to do?
I called Apple Accessibility to ask for some assistance and I was told
that I really should not update as soon as the OS updates come out, but rather
wait a year or even two. It used to be so simple to either swipe on the track
pad or VO+ Left/right-arrow to the needed button.
Seems to me it has something to do with accessing the notifications since
I could not even get a screen sharing session going with their tech support.
Thanks for any pointers in the proper direction.
