Well, I would be surprised if the version in your home directory is being replaced, but I have no proof one way or the other. Th First, the location of the script does not matter much if you are executing it with VoiceOver commanders, when you open the commander preferences you should be able to open a dialog to pick the location of the script to run. Second, if you want, you can save the script as a "application" and then store it in ~/Applications. Third, I wasn't sure exactly what you were requesting. Do you want a rsync type protocol to automatically push the script to your Library scripts directory on login?
