My MacBook Pro is very fast. I can’t recall the specs off the top off the top of my head but I am very impressed with the M1 speed and I would not hesitate to buy it again if I had a do over. I have a 16 GB, 1 TB model and I also have a Lenovo with the same windows 10 setup. My Mac is so much faster I am sometimes shocked at the difference. Even if I had the desire to run a Virtual Machine on my Mac I would not. I specifically bought this machine to get away from third party screen readers and learn Voiceover. Merv
