I just received a message from a friend who said her old e-mail address was
hacked and to use a new one. As a test, I typed her name into the To field of
Mac Mail on my Mac mini running 10.12.6. the new e-mail address appeared as
the first option. But the old address was immediately below it. I know I can
listen to the e-mail address being read to make sure I choose the correct one.
But I would prefer to hose the dead e-mail from my options. There are several
such cases where dead or misspelled e-mail address appear as options and I’d
like to remove them from this dropdown but have no idea how or whether it can
be done.

Ideas?

Thanks,
kevin
