Hi John,

Thanks for this. It sounds complicated, though. Would an alternative be to 
simply restore my old Mac from the backup? I made the backup on Monday, so 
about the only thing that would be different would be the personal mailboxes I 
deleted. I’ve never had to restore from a time-machine backup though, so I 
don’t have much of an idea about how it works.
