Hi Kevin,

For your general information, WWDC stands for World wide Developers conference. 
 Therefore, the primary focus at WEDC is usually on software, not hardware.  
That being said, there have been a few instances when hardware was introduced 
at WWDC.  Just because I love to share useless information along with more 
beneficial info, the last few hardware items introduced at WWDC have since been 
discontinued.  That is, the full-size HomePod, the iMac Pro and the 10.5” iPad 
Pro.  Basically, that means nothing other than bad luck, although superstitious 
people may think otherwise.

All that being said, the MacBook Pro is here to stay for quite a while in my 
opinion.  If you can afford it, it’s a wonderful machine.
