I'm glad.
I found it much easier to create an account on the Mac because my iPhone was 
already in the cloud.
Setting up the Mac this way was easier than Windows.

You make a good point.  What I ended up doing, once I got the replacement Mac, 
was just copying my documents folder to iCloud, and then copying the whole 
folder to my Mac.  It was actually super easy, and now the Mac and iCloud 
folders are connected, so when I make a change on my Mac, it’s reflected in the 
cloud.  In the end, I was really happy with this solution.
