This issue with the home pod mini reminds me of one with the very old iPod nano. The firmware was never updated nor was very robust. The VO voice is always much louder than the audio being played. And never a way to adjust one independent of the other. Hopefully Apple will not let this same issue live on in the home pod mini platform.
