I skipped all of the models that had a touch bar – but not for that reason. I waited for Apple’s new ARM-based architecture, then I decided to wait for a model with more than two USB ports, and finally bought a 14-inch MacBook Pro.
Over-all, I’m glad it has function keys. You can perform any VoiceOver command that uses F-keys, by holding down the VO modifier along with the Fn key, and then pressing a key on the NumberRow that corresponds with the F-key for the desired VO command. For example, pressing Fn + VO + NumberRow 1, will result in VoiceOver speaking the current application.
