Because I don’t really want to go to an Apple store I’ve been thinking about
buying a new iPhone and having it shipped to me direct. And, because I really
don’t want to mess around with changing out Sim cards from my old phone to the
new I’ve been considering just having the sim card set up and pre-loaded by
Apple. Sounds like a great solution for me but then I realized that that would
mean that my iPhone would be locked to the carrier for anunspecified period of
time. I’m perfectly happy with my current carrier and have no plans of changing
any time in the near or far future. What disadvantages am I looking at if I go
ahead and buy a locked phone versus an unlocked. By the way the carrier would
be Verizon. Sent from my IPhone
