Again I’m using Monterey OS and Safari. On Mojave, I could launch Safari to a
particular web page (Amazon in my case) and that was the site that would open
and present itself.

On Monterey Safari I use the same method and I hear several web pages flipping
along until it stops, and it will never be on Amazon. I have to close the tab
before Amazon will appear.

Is there a setting for Safari that does not insist on opening all those
previous tabs or windows upon launching?> And by the way, this behavior happens
even if I just open Safari using Option+S.
