I’ve been able to get my MacBook Air working very well on my iPhone 13 hotspot. It seems I have 5G service here in my home. My other main obstacle is trying to connect the echo dot onto my hotspot network. I need the dot to work my Amazon basics microwave and a few other things that have become accustomed to. It seems the Alexa app has a glitch where this is becoming very difficult and which there is a fix in progress. I just spent about two hours with Amazon tech-support trying to get this to work to no avail and they assured me they will contact me when the fix comes through. I’ll try not to hold my breath. Has Has anyone been able to connect an Amazon echo device to their phones hotspot yet. If this can be accomplished and I know it can be as soon as the fix comes through, I can envision completely dropping Comcast cable and using Verizon wireless for all my Internet needs , a very exciting prospect.
